Online poker has become world celebrated as of late, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. Its universal appeal, though, stretches back in fact a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years many types on the original poker game have been developed, including some games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with vingt-et-un than traditional poker, in that the gamblers wager against the casino instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little bluffing or other types of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up prior to the dealer declares "No further wagers." At that point, both you and the bank and of course all of the different players attain five cards each. Once you have seen your hand and the casino’s first card, you must either make a call bet or bow out. The call wager’s amount is akin to your original wager, meaning that the risks will have doubled. Abandoning means that your ante goes instantaneously to the house. After the wager is the face off. If the house doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, including a sum equal to the original bet. If the casino has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand is greater than the casino’s hand. The casino pays money equal to your ante and set odds on your call bet. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- two to one for two pairs
- three to one for 3 of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- 20-1 for a four of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
