Novice Tactics for Double-Hand Poker

Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with old ancestry. Founded on the old Chinese domino game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the western in a great game for beginner level players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player versus the croupier, unlike the majority of other poker games that gamblers bet against other gamblers. By wagering against the dealer, new players do not have to worry about other, more advanced gamblers taking their $$$$.

Another Pai Gow edge is the generally leisurely game pace, beginners will be able to take their time and scheme without needing to make frenzied selections.

It is also much simpler to enjoy for a long time with basically a little bit of money seeing as, to not win, both of your hands has to be under each of the casino’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the familiar 52-card common deck and one joker. The gambler is dealt 7 cards face up and the croupier is given seven cards faces hidden.

A 5 card hand and a two card hand must be made from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand has to be better than the 2 card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be better than the dealer’s.
