Amateurs Strategy for Pai Gow Poker

Double-hand Poker is a modern game with old ancestry. Founded on the old Chinese tile game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the far east with the west in a fantastic game for early level gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler vs. the casino, not like nearly all other poker games that players play with other gamblers. By gambling against the dealer, starting players do not need to fret about any other, more knowledgeable players winning their cash.

One more Pai Gow advantage is the relatively leisurely game play, beginners will be able to take their time and scheme while not needing to make quick choices.

It’s also easier to play for an extended time with only a small amount of cash after all, to not win, each of your hands has to be under both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card common deck and a single joker. The player is assigned seven cards face up and the dealer is dealt 7 cards faces hidden.

A 5 card hand and one 2 card hand must be made from the seven cards, the five card hand has to be better than the 2 card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand values to be larger than the casino’s.
