Amateurs Schemes for Double-Hand Poker

Double-hand Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Built on the old Chinese tile game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the far east with the western in a great game for starting players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player versus the casino, unlike most other poker games that gamblers bet with other players. By competing against the dealer, new players don’t need to be concerned about any other, more skillful people taking their cash.

A further Pai Gow edge is the relatively slow game play, novices will be able to take their time and strategize while not having to make quick selections.

It’s also easier to play for a long time with only a little bit of money seeing as, to not win, each of your hands must be under each of the casino’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the familiar 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The player is dealt 7 cards faces showing and the croupier is dealt seven cards faces hidden.

One five card hand and a two card hand must be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand has to be better than the 2 card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be better than the casino’s.
